Dear Participants

The Borstahusen Sailing Club(Borstahusens Segelsällskap) is delighted to host the European Laser Standard Youth and Senior Championship 2009. Borstahusens Segelsällskap and the city of Landskrona welcomes you, your friends and family and we will do our very best to offer you good racing and sport conditions as well as a pleasent stay.

The Venue
Borstahusen is a 200 year old fishing village situated some 3 km north of Landskrona city. Landskrona is a small town with 40 000 inhabitants and was granted a town charter in 1413. Twenty kilometres to the north is Helsingborg with ferries to Helsingör (Helsinore) och 45 km to the south is Malmo with the Öresunds bridge to Copenhagen.

The race area will be just outside the harbour in the Öresund.

Facilities
All participants will be based on the harbour area. The trailer storage area will be approximately 1 km from the harbour.

Boats will be launched with the help of at least four slips and the operation will be directed by a shore/slip master every day.

Coaches RIBs will be accommodated as much as possible in the outer part of the harbour.
