1. Rules
1.1 The event will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
1.4 Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority.
2. Eligibility requirements
2.1 The person in charge onboard the boat shall be a member of his/her Member National Authority or one of its affiliated organisations.
2.2 Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third party liability insurance.
2.3 Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organising authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
3. Entries
3.1 Advance entry shall be made not later than 2010-07-23 and made
on the website www.nordicweek.se
3.2 The advance entry shall include the following:
Full Name, age, club , country, sailnumber, class
3.3 The entry fee is 500 SEK for A-cat, RS-X, Finn, Laser, Laser Radial
and 700 SEK for 470, 420, 49er, 29er, Yngling
and 800 SEK for J24
and is paid to Bankgiro account 624-3109

4. Registration and measurement checks
4.1 Registration shall be made at the race office not later than 0900 the first day of planned racing for each class.
4.2 Measurement certificate shall be presented prior to racing.
4.3 Random measurement checks can / will be done during the week
5. Sailing Instructions
5.1 The sailing instructions will be handed out upon completion of the registration.

4/8 Wednesday: 29er, 49er, Laser , Laser Radial , RS-X, 470, 420
5/8 Thursday: 29er, 49er, Laser , Laser Radial , RS-X, 470, 420, a-cat
6/8 Friday: A-cat, Finn, Yngling, J24
7/8 Saturday: A-cat, Finn, Yngling, J24, Liros Cup ( separate invitation)
Measurement, Safety Inspection will be during the regatta
Registration each class at the latest 0900 on the day of the first start for that class
Skippers meeting everyday at 09.00
Time for the first planned warning signal is 10.30 everyday

7. Race format
7.1 If the number of participating boats exceeds 50 the boats can be divided into smaller fleets for a series of qualifying races, the results of which determine each boat’s assignment to two fleets for the final series. Details will be described in the sailing instructions.
8. Racing area
8.1 The racing areas will be just outside Borstahusen Harbour
9. The course
9.1 Will be presented in the sailing instructions
10. Protests and penalty systems
10.1 RRS Appendix P will apply.
11. Scoring
11.1 The low point scoring system of RRS Appendix A will apply, modified so that when three or fewer races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
11.2 3 races are required to be completed to constitute a championship in those classes racing for such.
12. Prizes
12.1 One prize for every fifth boat racing in each class

1. Regler
1.1 Tävlingen genomförs i överensstämmelse med reglerna så som de är definierade i Kappseglingsreglerna (KSR) och med Appendix S.
1.4 Alla båtar kan komma, enligt ISAF Regulation 20, att föra reklam vald och tillhandahållen av arrangören.
2. Villkor för att delta
2.1 Den person ombord som har ansvaret ska vara medlem av en klubb som är ansluten till sin nationella myndighet.
2.2 Varje deltagande båt ska vara ansvarsförsäkrad.
2.3 Tävlande deltar i regattan helt på egen risk. Se KSR 4, Besluta att kapp-segla. Den arrangerande myndigheten accepterar inget ansvar för sak- eller personskador som någon råkat ut för i samband med eller före, un-der eller efter tävlingen.
3. Anmälan
3.1 Anmälan ska göras senast 2010-08-01 till vår hemsida

4. Registrering och besiktningskontroll
4.1 Registrering ska göras på tävlingsexpeditionen senast 2010-08-07
kl 0900.
4.2 Rorsmansdeklaration ska skrivas på innan en båt kappseglar.
5. Seglingsföreskrifter
5.1 Seglingsföreskrifterna lämnas ut i samband med registreringen.
6. Tidsprogram
6.1 Registrering senast 09.00

8. Kappseglingsområde
8.1 Kappseglingarna genomförs strax utanför Borstahusens hamn

9.1 Banan anges i seglingsföreskrifterna
10. Protester och straff
10.1 Med avvikelse från reglerna i KSR del 5, avdelningarna A och B kom-mer kappseglingarna att dömas direkt av domare på vattnet enligt ett förfarande som anges i seglingsföreskrifterna.
11. Poängberäkning
11.1 Lågpoängsystemet i KSR appendix A gäller med den avvikelsen att vid tre eller färre kappseglingar räknas samtliga.
12. Priser
12.1 Priser till var femte anmäld båt i tid
