Tourist information
In northern Landskrona lies Borstahusen, the town’s oasis
with genuine buildings from the 1700s and a large recreation
area. A wealth of different activities await you during the
day and in the evening we suggest a walk along the beautiful
beach promenade or shaking a leg on the dance jetty.
Borstahusen attracts everybody from campers and surfers to
golfers and sailors. There are several sandy beaches
offering space for play and wonderful bathing. You can
choose whether you want to wade out in the shallow water or
dive from the bathing pier.
Borstahusen even has its own cultural centre, the Pumphuset
(Pump house). Here there is a museum with exhibitions that
describe the area, as well as an art hall and restaurant.
In the middle of Öresund between Sweden and Denmark lies the
Island Ven. Many visit Ven all year round but it’s chiefly
in the summer that the island really blossoms. It is then
that Ven’s wonderful nature is at its best and the
experiences are many more than at any other time of the year.
So step aboard one of ‘Ventrafikens’ boats, hire a bicycle
in the harbour and set off on a voyage of discovery.
Captivating views, creative art and crafts, wonderful
restaurants and the world famous museum about the scientist
Tycho Brahe await you.
